An “Equality” House meme reads: “4 men (Trump, Limbaugh, Giuliani, Gingrich), 13 marriages and at least 4 affairs, but please tell us again how you oppose same-sex marriage because you respect the sanctity of marriage.” The meme makes a connection between equality and moral impartiality. It does NOT mention LOVE, but does use the term “sanctity” which refers to something that is holy or sacred, which term “sanctity of marriage” is derived from not civil, but generally accepted Christian religious rules. Accordingly, the reason the “sanctity of marriage” is holy or sacred because it is rooted in the divine plan of creation, which means only sex between a man and woman can CREATE offspring; and which therefore, is what constitutes the “consummation of a marriage.” It is not to push homosexuality in the face of by passers that seeks to convince them it is as equally natural as the love in a traditional marriage, for the fundamental differences on which each are based. It’s not saying people of the same sex cannot love each other, but comes down to the question in the meme about the “sanctity of marriage.” Whether you agree with the traditions and statutes of the religious law that it comes from, traditional marriage and same sex marriage are fundamentally NOT equal by definition of the “sanctity of marriage,” because same-sex marriages technically cannot CREATE offspring. To impose there exists an equality, i.e. where the two are the same when there are contradictions is to suffer from a moral ambiguity, a delusion that IMPEDES one’s ability to LOVE, because this sentiment demands quick judgement of others. You can believe fire is water, or water is fire, but that doesn’t change the reality of life, when it comes to their appearance, and nature. The “sanctity of marriage” has absolutely nothing to do with “13 marriages and at least 4 affairs,” but everything to do with the act of consummation. Either way; “consummation” by any definition you would like to invent refers to sex, and like all desires are paths that cause our lives to gravitate toward experiencing certain conditions, all of which have the potential to cause us to suffer, such as; Perceiving you have no freedom of action and want to destroy yourselves and everything around you, is experiencing a state of hell; feeling as though you are at the mercy of insatiable desires for money, power, status, etc. and unable to control them, is being in a state of hunger; being ruled by instinct with neither reason nor moral sense, nor the ability to make long-range judgement for operating by the law of the jungle where you won’t hesitate to take advantage of weaker people is animality; and ANGER, where a selfish, greedy, or distorted ego emerges to best others at all costs and seeing everything as a potential threat to itself, in which state you value ONLY yourself and tend to hold OTHERS in contempt. All I have done here is share moral impartiality with its basis in objectivity; these expressions are NOT based in any bias, prejudice, or preferring it to benefit one person over another, as you SUBMIT. At the core of the meme is DOMINATION by “4 men,” or otherwise those exemplify external authorities and exercise their free use of you using various schemes to impose and fulfill their own agendas, e.g. intervening to make a variety of different marriages lawful; and SUBMISSION by those in a “same-sex” marriages, or any other marriage outside of a tradition marriage for that matter, but to speak about LOVE demands you overcome the desire for control and dependency! If love means the capacity to wish or act for the freedom and happiness of others, then the solution to suffering over love must be sought in the development of inner strength and character, to make us more capable of loving; but what do you do? You angrily castigate me about love, as though it’s a feeling of pleasure and comfort only to be stimulated by some external object, like someone who is new or better, e.g. “good people” because they serve your interest and those whom you dislike as “bad people,” because they don’t? Save me the bigotry!
